What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

Gogglebox Ireland (TV3, 9pm)

Back for a third season, Ireland’s favourite households will be sharing their opinions and reactions to a range of TV shows including BBC1′s ‘Should I Marry My Cousin?’, TV3′s new game show ‘Cannonball’ and ‘Man V. Animal: Jellyfish Evasion’. There’ll even be some new faces and sofas over the next few weeks as the show introduces two brand new households to the show.

How to Stay Young (BBC 2, 9pm)

Angela Rippon and Dr Chris van Tulleken return for another series of How to Stay Young, in search of more answers to that huge question. 51-year-old Patrick Luckie is shown the effects that his diet has had on his heart while 47-year-old Jenifer Tutty cures her insomnia with a very unconventional solution. They share all of their tips and latest research on how to put the brakes on the ageing process.

Celebrity Operation Transformation (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

It’s week two and the celebs are a bit more settled into their new fitness regimes. However, tonight asks the question: are they ready for their toughest fitness challenge yet?

Everybody’s talking about… The sex robot on This Morning with Philip and Holly.

We got a glimpse into the future with yesterday’s segment on This Morning showing a man who has introduced his sex doll to his children and even lets them listen to the 1,000+ jokes that she has programmed into her. Is this really something kids need to be exposed to? You can watch the whole video here.

This Time Next Year (TV3, 8pm) In the final episode of the series, Davina McCall meets Sam Redington, who hopes his days in a wheelchair are numbered.

World’s Busiest Cities (BBC 2, 8pm) Dan Snow, Anita Rani and Ade Adepitan reveal the hidden systems and armies of people that help run the biggest cities in Europe.
